1.ソフトの概要
IdentityX は配列をアライメントした状態で保存し、配列の Identity を数えるために開発した Macintosh 専用のアプリケーションです。ClustalW2、シークエンスの生データのアライメントに適した「アライメント」、分子量の計算、ORFの検索、塩基配列を編集しながらアミノ酸配列を見ることのできる「Amino view」、波形ファイルを表示する「Wave view」、樹形図を表示する 「Tree view」、全体像を把握するための「Over view」、 Dot blot 、 Degenerate primer の設計、 GC 含量や疎水性の程度を表す「プロット」など、生物学で使う機能も多彩です。
さらに通常の「or 検索」だけでなく、一致率を指定したあいまいな検索や、二つの条件を満たしたもののみ検索する「and 検索」、検索語の末端だけを検索対象とする「末端検索」、複数の検索語をまとめて or 検索する「ぐるっぱ検索」など他のソフトでは見られない高度な検索が可能です。

1. Overview of the software
IdentityX is a Macintosh specified sequence editor for biology. IdentityX is developed to save sequences in alignment and count the sequence identities. IdentityX is including below functions. ClustalW2, "Alignment", which is suitable for alignment of raw sequencing data, calculation of molecular weight, open reading frame search, "Amino view", which shows amino acid sequence while editing the nucleotide sequence, "Wave view" for waveform files such as ab1 and scf file format, "Tree view" for tree diagrams, "Over view" for overview, Dot blot, Degenerate primer design, "Plot", which shows the GC content and hydrophobicity level, and other functions used in biology are also available.
In addition to the usual "OR search," advanced search functions not found in other software are available, such as ambiguous search by specifying the match ratio, "AND search," which searches only those that satisfy two conditions, "END search," which searches only the end of the search term, and "Guruppa search," which surveys multiple search terms at one search. These search functions are not available in other software.

Most functions including editing, saving, printing, etc. can be used free of charge, but some functions such as "Create a schematic diagram" of circular DNA, "Wave view" to display waveform files, "Tree view" to display tree diagrams, "Over view" to get an overall picture, "Plot" to show GC content and degree of hydrophobicity, etc. require a license.
The license fee is 50000 JPY for eternal license and 1000 JPY for 1 month license.
